A taste of Linux.

Do you see what I see? If I look at this blog in firefox the right-sided menu doesn't appear correctly ... in that sections of it spill over into the entries instead of staying delineated by a vertical line. And yet, it appears perfectly okay in Opera and konqueror, but odd-looking in seamonkey and flock. Probably some css error that only shows up in browsers based on the gecko coding. Well, it will be fixed, once I've found out exactly where the problem is and then how to sort it out. (Talk about stating the obvious! :) -----

I finally got knemo to work, by just deleting an old redundant config file. And then it worked! So simple, and so infuriating until I found out what the problem was. And I can still recommend this program :). -----

I've used this program before [from here] as a network monitor and found it very useful. So when I saw that a new version had come out yesterday I downloaded it and eventually managed to configure and make it [hint - read the comments before you try configuring it] and now it shows in KDE Control Centre, but I can't get it to appear in my system tray or on my status bar at all! And I'm totally confuzzled as to what to do about it. Anyone any ideas please? I've tried logging off and back on, I've restarted X, but nothing I've done seems to have made any difference. And the lack of it is really irritating me! -----
