Its possible to give LibreOffice some colour in its background, which makes it much nicer to work with. And this is how you do it -

  1. Go to ’Firefox Themes’ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lucky/ and have a look at the themes and find one you like.

  2. Then go back to LibreOffice and you need -

Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Personalisation > Pre-installed persona > Select persona >

and then paste in from the clipboard into Persona address.

  1. Click ’Ok > Ok’ and watch the background of your programme change colour to the one you've just installed.

Obviously you don't want a background/theme that is too dark as it means that you wont be able to see the icons of LibreOffice. Have fun with it.

NB = You need to have the most up-to-date version of LibreOffice, which is currently version 4.0.3.3.
